Our 12 hour race has now ben running for 29 years. This unique event brings together youth sailors from all around the country to compete. Held on the relatively safe waters of the Marine Lake this popular event is always well attended. Although you can turn up and race on the day most teams take the opportunity to camp over the Friday night giving them a fresh start on Saturday morning. As you would expect full safety cover for the race is provided and the facillities at the club are open for all to use. The galley serves hot food and drink all day and the bar will provide something a little stronger for those not sailing. Within the endurance race itself there are a number of other trophies to compete for such as Fastest Lap starting next after 12 noon or Lady Helm Sailing Fastest Lap after 1600hrs. This gives teams the chance to tailor their race strategy to suit the sailors they have.

Supports families bereaved through homicide through a 24hr helpline. SAMM is volunteer led and all volunteers have lost a loved one through homicide.

5 Alive is kids club for infant school aged children from reception class until end of year 2. Held here at Grace on Fridays during term time. Come and join us.5.15pm – 6.30pm on Friday evenings (term time). 5 Alive drop off and pick up at the Market Street side entrance (blue door without the letterbox)

'a great little place' was awarded first place in the Best Coffee Shop category in the prestigious Southport Food and Drinks Festival. Houghton Street, Southport, is the location for the ‘vision’ of our latest social enterprise venture, a café aptly named ‘a great little place’. It is a place for great coffee, great art and it’s for a great reason. The café provides meaningful work experience for people with autism and is a venue for exhibiting and selling art and crafts. The café has sandwiches, paninis and cakes on the menu along with beautiful fresh coffee that has been roasted and supplied locally. The also shop sells hand-made jewelery and original artwork.
